CENTRAL CEE
June 28
Central Cee, one of the most visionary figures in contemporary UK rap, has quickly become one of the biggest names in British hip hop and one of its leading global exports. Born in Shepherd’s Bush, he rose to prominence in 2020 with the singles “Day in the Life” and “Loading”, helping bring UK drill into the mainstream.
His debut mixtape Wild West (2021) reached No.2 on the UK Albums Chart, followed by 23 (2022), which debuted at No.1. Tracks such as “Commitment Issues” and “Obsessed With You” cemented his success, while “Doja” became the most-streamed UK rap song on Spotify that same year.
In 2023, “Sprinter”, his collaboration with Dave, debuted at No.1 on the UK Singles Chart and remained there for 10 consecutive weeks, becoming the longest-running No.1 rap song in the country’s history.
In 2025, he released his debut studio album “Can’t Rush Greatness”, which entered directly at No.1 in the UK and at No.9 on the Billboard 200, making it the first UK rap album to reach the Top 10 in the US. The project also topped charts across multiple international markets and has already surpassed one billion streams.
With over 10 billion global streams and collaborations with artists such as Lil Baby, 21 Savage and Drake, Central Cee has established himself as one of the most influential voices of his generation, taking UK rap from the streets of London to the world’s biggest stages and charts.
This trajectory now reaches Rock in Rio Lisboa, where he joins the lineup of artists making their debut on the Main Stage on June 28.
