The Pretty Reckless
June 21
The great female voice of modern rock makes its long-awaited debut in Portugal.
Known for their intense sound, raw aesthetic and Taylor Momsen’s unmistakable vocals, The Pretty Reckless take the Palco Mundo stage for the very first time. Formed in 2009, they quickly became one of the most influential names in contemporary hard rock. Their debut album Light Me Up (2010) delivered hits such as Make Me Wanna Die and Just Tonight, but it was Going To Hell (2014) that propelled them to global recognition — debuting in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 and securing three #1 singles on Billboard Mainstream Rock, including the milestone track Heaven Knows.
They followed with Who You Selling For (2016) and the acclaimed Death by Rock and Roll (2021), featuring collaborations with Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil (Soundgarden) and Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), cementing the band’s status as one of the dominant forces in modern rock. In 2023, Momsen revisited a holiday classic with Pretty Reckless Christmas, re-recording Where Are You Christmas? — 25 years after first performing it as Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The track quickly climbed to #2 on the band’s Spotify chart.
Blending vulnerability, rebellion and raw emotional power, The Pretty Reckless have topped charts, sold out tours worldwide and defined a generation of rock. Now, they arrive at Palco Mundo to unleash the full force of female power in rock.
