grandson has become one of the most incendiary voices in modern rock, blending explosive riffs, rap-driven urgency and unfiltered political commentary. Known for breakthrough hits like “Blood // Water” and “Heather”, he now enters his boldest chapter with INERTIA — a darker, heavier and uncompromising record inspired by the rising need for solidarity, social justice and collective resistance.

After playing around 150 shows following his 2023 album, grandson recognised that fans come to his music seeking catharsis — a place to vent anger, pain and frustration. Breaking away from major label constraints and reclaiming full creative control, he delivers a visceral sound built for the chaos of the pit: crushing riffs, sharp-edged flow and stadium-ready hooks.

Influenced by Rage Against The Machine, System of a Down, Green Day, Foo Fighters and Linkin Park — with whom he has already shared the stage — grandson crafted INERTIA with a tight group of collaborators, aiming for a maximal impact from a minimalist setup. Songs like “BRAINROT”, “AUTONOMOUS DELIVERY ROBOT”, “YOU MADE ME THIS WAY” and “BELLS OF WAR” tackle political manipulation, systemic violence and the apathy engineered by those in power.

With major festival appearances ahead, including a Left Field headline slot at Glastonbury, grandson is stepping into a new era defined by rage, purpose and urgency. INERTIA is both a call to action and a release of energy — an album built to ignite mosh pits and fuel a global conversation.
