The historic 10th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa celebrating our 20th anniversary in Portugal has come to an end and it was a success - the figures speak for themselves! During the 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd of June 2024, the new City of Rock, which gave new life to Parque Tejo Lisboa, welcomed 300,000 national and international visitors from 106 countries. With three of the four days sold out, the festival brought together 80,000 people on the first day, 80,000 on the second day, 60,000 on the third day and 80,000 on the fourth and final day of the event.

The vast majority of visitors left satisfied with the festival experience, as evidenced by the study requested by the organisation from Multidados on the event's evaluation. According to the results, around 70 per cent had positive opinions about moving Rock in Rio Lisboa to Parque Tejo, out of 1,200 participants, with a margin of error of 3.99 per cent and a 95 per cent degree of confidence.
In addition to the crowd that inaugurated the new City of Rock, many teams worked to ensure that everything ran smoothly at the 20th anniversary edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa: more than 350 companies and 14,500 accredited staff contributed to this historic edition, which with five stages provided 48 hours of music and entertainment for all tastes and ages.

In terms of audiences, the festival impacted more than 10 million people over the two weekends via TV, and more than 8 million people via radio. The digital coverage of Rock in Rio Lisboa was equally impactful, with over 900 pieces of content published, generating 26 million impressions, 48,000 mentions and 46,000 new followers on the festival's social networks. These figures show the event's huge global reach in the digital world.

Rock in Rio Lisboa 2024 featured a heavyweight line-up, including big national and international names such as Xutos & Pontapés with the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra, Scorpions, Evanescence, Ed Sheeran, Calum Scott, Ivete Sangalo, Jonas Brothers, Doja Cat, Ne-Yo, among many others.

In 2026, Rock in Rio Lisboa returns to Parque Tejo for another unmissable edition, which is expected to be even more special.
