Rod Stewart

Sir Rod Stewart CBE is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with more than 250 million albums and singles sold worldwide. His unmistakable voice, iconic style and genre-spanning versatility — from rock and soul to R&B, swing and big-band classics — have made him one of the rare stars to achieve chart-topping albums in every decade of his extraordinary five-decade career.
Born in North London with Scottish roots, Stewart first made his mark in the 1960s with Long John Baldry, Steampacket, Shotgun Express, Jeff Beck and later the Faces. As a solo artist, he delivered some of the biggest songs in music history, including Maggie May, Forever Young, Rhythm of My Heart, Tonight’s the Night, I Don’t Want to Talk About It, You Wear It Well and Da Ya Think I’m Sexy.
In the 2000s, Stewart reinvented himself with the acclaimed Great American Songbook series — five volumes that became the best-selling ongoing new-music recording series in history. His return to songwriting brought Time (2013), a chart-topping album that hit #1 in the U.K. and reached the Top 10 in ten countries. He later reimagined his classics with You’re in My Heart, recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, which spent three weeks at #1.
In 2024, he released Swing Fever, his 33rd studio album and a collaboration with Jools Holland, which debuted at #1 in the U.K. — marking his 11th chart-topping album and placing him alongside David Bowie, Taylor Swift and U2 on the list of artists with the most U.K. No. 1s.
His One Last Time world tour became a 2024 global box office smash, with sold-out shows across North America, Europe, South America and beyond. In Las Vegas, his record-breaking 13-year residency Rod Stewart: The Hits is one of the most successful in Caesars Palace history, now returning with The Encore Shows due to overwhelming demand.
With 10 U.K. No. 1 albums, 31 U.K. Top 10 singles, 17 U.S. Top 10 albums, 16 U.S. Top 10 singles, and an unmatched list of honours — including two inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, ASCAP Founders Award, Grammy™ Living Legend, Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, New York Times bestselling author and a knighthood from Buckingham Palace — Rod Stewart remains one of the greatest music legends of all time.
