The Danish artist continues to win over audiences on a global scale with songs that mix touches of pop and soul with engaging messages.
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Lukas Graham Forchhammer, better known as Lukas Graham, was born on 18 September 1988. He showed an interest in music from an early age and began his artistic career at a local music school.
His musical career came to a head in 2011 with the release of his eponymous debut album, widely acclaimed by critics for its unique combination of pop, soul and hip-hop elements and distinctive vocal style. However, it was with the release of the single "7 Years" in 2015 that Lukas Graham achieved large-scale international recognition. He became one of the first 25 artists to enter Spotify's Billions Club with "7 Years", a song without a classic pop hook but with a unique message about family, friendship and ageing, which hit the sales charts globally and was nominated for GRAMMY®s in 2017 in the categories of Recording of the Year and Best Pop Performance by Duo/Group.
In 2016, he released the "Blue Album", which included other hits such as "Mama Said" and "You're Not There". Last year, he released his latest album "4 (The Pink Album)", where he continues to demonstrate his unique talent for creating catchy and emotional songs, establishing himself as a benchmark in contemporary pop music.
