Linkin Park
June 21rd
LINKIN PARK are one of the most iconic bands to ever take the stage at Rock in Rio Lisboa — and one of the most requested of all time. With unforgettable performances in the 2008, 2012, and 2014 editions, they won over a legion of fans and left a lasting mark on our history.
Since their stage debut in the early 2000s, LINKIN PARK have emerged as an innovative force in music, blending rock, hip hop, and electronic elements in a unique way. With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, their achievements are extraordinary: Hybrid Theory, their debut album, is the best-selling debut of the 21st century, certified Diamond by the RIAA, and Meteora — released in 2003 — topped the Billboard chart and went 8× Platinum in the US.
Over the past two decades, the band have collected numerous awards, including 2 GRAMMYs®, 6 American Music Awards, and 10 MTV Europe Music Awards, among many others. On stage, they are synonymous with intensity and emotion — selling out stadiums around the globe, headlining the world’s biggest festivals, and becoming the first Western rock band to tour five stadiums in China.
In 2020, they celebrated 20 years of Hybrid Theory with a special edition that included the iconic single “In The End.” In 2023, they released the Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition, featuring the previously unreleased track “Lost,” which quickly hit number 1 on rock and alternative radio. In 2024, they released Papercuts, their first greatest hits compilation, with the new track “Friendly Fire,” which also topped the charts. On September 5, they made a powerful return with “The Emptiness Machine” — the biggest rock hit of 2024 — and on November 15 they released their long-awaited 8th studio album, From Zero, already surpassing a billion streams.
Now, in 2026, they return to Rock in Rio Lisboa with a new chapter, new energy, and a legacy that spans generations. The story continues.
