Sofia Camara, a Luso-Canadian artist who has been gaining recognition among younger audiences with her pop identity and growing presence across digital platforms, is emerging as one of the most promising new voices in the pop scene.
Recognised for the intensity of her performances and the emotional honesty of her songwriting, she gained visibility on social media by sharing covers of popular songs such as “When I Look At You” by Miley Cyrus, which went viral on TikTok. Her original single “Who Do I Call Now? (Hellbent)”, released in 2024, further established her international presence, accumulating over 90 million streams.
Since then, Sofia has continued to win over audiences with new releases and live performances, including appearances at major festivals such as Lollapalooza Chicago and Osheaga, as well as collaborations with artists like Dean Lewis.
In 2025, the singer-songwriter released the EP “Hard To Love”, reinforcing her place among emerging international pop acts and bringing her career total to over 150 million streams.
This year, Sofia Camara released an acoustic version of the single “Ingrained (DNA)” and is now set to perform on the Super Bock Stage at Rock in Rio Lisboa on June 20.
